Fort Sumter National Monument, Charleston, SC

View from Mount Pleasant of Fort Sumter where the first official shots of the Civil War were fired. Unfortunately my eyesight is not that great and it looks more like a whale with flags sticking out - may try to do another one looking from James Island (which you can see beyond); it's much closer to the fort from that side...

Mark's Crops, Gray Court, SC

My brother's vast crop for 2009 - an ingenious use of an old fenced in dog run to grow corn, tomatoes, beans, etc. - keeps the deer and rabbits out.

Gray Court, SC

View of my brother's backyard this past memorial day weekend - it was wet but we had a great time anyways - it doesn't take much for my family to be entertained. Happy Birthday, Mark!

A mini-painting that I gave mom for mother's day - a little from reality and a little from my imagination - 4.5"x6" or so on Arches 140# cold press. Thanks mom!
